Upon completing a BS degree in business at Cal Poly, SLO, I transitioned to the bay area at the height of the dot com boom of the mid '90s. Despite some huge success, my heart was simply not in the process or products I was marketing.

In 2000, a friend, working as a loan officer, suggested that I might thrive in the mortgage lending arena. As the saying goes: “The rest is history.” As I embark on my 22nd year as a mortgage consultant, it has been my privilege to help over 1250 families realize their dreams of homeownership.

Five years ago, along with my wife Carolyn and our two children, I relocated to the Sierra Foothills, in historic Auburn, CA. Having trained and raced in triathlons for the last 25 years, I am about to do my 4th IRONMAN. I am also an avid skier, and my family and I have grown absolutely addicted to Pickleball during the Pandemic! Additional interests include gardening, reading, traveling, and coaching my kids in their individual pursuits and passions.
